Porto’s Crystal Palace Gardens or Jardins do Palácio de Cristal are the most beautiful gardens in the city and therefore one of its top attractions. Overlooking the Douro River, this spectacular park offers a variety of things to do and see and is therefore frequented by locals and tourists. Home to several landmarks, including a huge domed pavilion that was built to replace the original Crystal Palace and the Romantic Museum of Quinta da Macieirinha, and great for jogging and relaxing, this park is an absolute must-visit when in the city. Visitors will also be treated to incredible sweeping views of the Duoro River and will come across a variety of fountains, and beautiful plants and flowers. They will also get to see peacocks and ducks roaming around the grounds freely.

If unable to do so, the city of Porto is known to house a couple of mosques and Islamic Centres, such as the Centro Cultural Islamico do Porto.

Halal Food

There is a cafeteria within the Crystal Palace Gardens. While visitors will be able to find a variety of snacks and refreshments here, the items will not be Halal certified. Muslim tourists can therefore either dine on suitable vegetarian and seafood options found here, or they can ask to be directed to one of the few Halal restaurants in Porto.
