Located in India, at the base of the Chamundi Hills, in the state of Karnataka is the major tourist city of Mysore. Spread out across 245 acres, the Mysore Zoo is not only home to rare and exotic birds and animals; it also focuses on conservation education and breeding, and the rehabilitation of wild animals and birds. While here, visitors get the chance to observe tigers, bears, gorillas, hippos, rhinos, elephants and numerous other exotic species.
