New Orleans is among the largest cities in Louisiana and has several districts. The French Quarter in New Orleans is the most visited areas in the city; the area features museums, antique shops, rustic cafes and several beautiful pieces of architecture.
The downtown area is known as the Central Business District and is located next to the French Quarter. The Central Business District boasts of high-rise buildings and the famous Superdome. The area also has several museums such as the National D-Day Museum, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Louisiana Children's Museum and Contemporary Arts Center. A cruise along the Mississippi River is highly recommended. Visitors travelling with children should also visit the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium of the Americas and the Storyland Amusement Park.
People who love shopping will find New Orleans to be an excellent destination. From high-end boutiques to antique shops and modern malls the city offers something for everyone. The Frech Quarter has some wonderful shops and so does Magazine Street. Other good places to shop include Shops at Canal Place, The Riverwalk and he Saks Fifth Avenue.

New Orleans is served by the Louis Armstrong International Airport. The airport is situated in the suburban area of Kenner. The quickest and most convenient way of reaching the city from the airport is by hiring a taxi. A taxi ride for 1-2 people costs $33 and a taxi ride for 3 or more people costs $14. Limousines are also available and the rates start from $35. There is also an airport express bus service that costs $2 per ticket.
