Ajman is a small yet beautiful emirate located along the western coast of UAE. Placed close to Dubai, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain, Ajman is a beautiful place to visit. The emirate offers a wide range of attractions for visitors of all age groups. The Ajman City is the main base for exploring the emirate. The Ajman National Museum is the main attraction in the area. Located in the Ajman City, the museum features several historic artifacts and weaponry. The 18th century fort is placed in the heart of the Ajman City and is a beautiful site to visit.

The Ajman Dhow Yard is the oldest dhow building yard in the world and is still active. Another interesting site to visit in Ajman is the Mowaihat, an archaeological site, which is good to visit. The beach is quite good to relax and enjoy some fun filled water sports. The corniche in Ajman City is quite good to enjoy an evening walk.

Ajman is a great place for shopping. Ajman City has several shopping malls and centers that offer a variety of things to buy. Some good places to shop include City Center Mall, Iranian souq, AlSafeer Center, Hamdan Center, Lulu Hypermarket , etc.

Ajman is located close to both Sharjah and Dubai International Airport. The Sharjah International Airport is located about 18km from Ajman and the Dubai International Airport is located about 31km from Ajman. From both the airports visitors can easily get taxis or car rentals to reach Ajman.
